The 1st year and 2nd year students of Integrated Mass Communication and Journalism successfully completed their first internships in various media and allied sectors in various parts of the country.
After internships the students gave a viva-voce, where they were judged by an external media academician and marked according to their presentations and written submissions.
The students as part of completion of their 2nd semester and 5th semester course they did their internships in places like The Sentinel, Gauhati, Assam; The Times of India, Bhubaneswar, Odisha; Zee Media, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh; Vidyavahini community radio, Savitribai Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra; Kalinga TV, Bhubaneswar, Odisha; The New Indian Express, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Odishalive.com, Odisha, Eastern Railways PR Department, Kolkata, TERI, New Delhi, Network 18, Kerala etc.
