Bhubaneswar: KIIT School of Mass Communication successfully conducted a one-day “Newspaper Page Designing Workshop” on October 6, 2018. The workshop, conducted by Mr Nirad Patnaik, was aimed at providing hands-on experience to the students about software for page making.
The workshop for third semester students of Integrated Masters of Communication and Journalism was a part of their curriculum.
“The workshop helped the students learn the basics of preparing a newspaper page in Adobe InDesign software”, said Nirad Patnaik, a senior computer teacher.
The enthusiastic students were given brief but detailed information about the application of the software for newspaper pages and editing by the expert.
Ms Ruby Nanda, Faculty associate was the coordinator for the workshop.
