School Mass Communication lab journal Kalpavriksha inaugurated on November 10, 2017

The first volume of Kalpavriksha, a lab journal of School of Mass Communication was opened by Dr Achyuta Samant, Founder of KIIT and KISS University during the 1^st year students fresher’s party on 10 November 2017.

Kalpavriksha Newsletter, a lab journal by students of School of Mass Communication is a collaborative effort by the budding future journalists. The lab journal is a platform to showcase their creativity and hone their communication skills.

The students with guidance from them faculty collect, write, report and edit their lab journal. They even write their own editorial!

Prof H.S. Khatua, CEO, SMC, SFMS, SFT, expressed his delight at the launch of the lab journal and in his message he hoped for “many more high quality write-up by students in future”.

The newsletter is published quarterly.
