Susanta Bahinipati
An ace cinematographer with keen sense of observation of life and living, Mr Susanta Bahinipati is an alumnus of Biju Pattnaik Film & Television Institute of Orissa (BPFTIO), Cuttack. Critically acclaimed Director of Photography with a career spanning of more than a decade and half years in many a film including 12 Feature ones. Mr Bahinpati holds an MA degree in Journalism & Mass Communication, Himalayan University, Arunachal Pradesh. He holds a certificate of Appreciation, Department of Tourism, Government of India as well. He has taken classes at National Academic of Broadcasting Multimedia (NABM), Bhubaneswar, and conducted workshop at BPFTIO. He has also conducted workshop on Photography and Videography for the Department of Tourism, Government of India. He has won many accolades for his works. Mr Bahinipati’s film Krantidhara has earned a nomination for screening at prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and had been nominated for the 12th Chennai International Film Festival and the 7th Bengaluru International Film Festival in India, Best Cinematographer - State Award, Odisha for the film Rasika Nagara, 2007 Best Cameraman - ETV Odia for the serial Gayatri, 2011, Best feature film - State Award, Odisha for the film Sata Sure Bansha Aei Jibana, 2009, Best Documentary nominated at Tampere Film Festival, International Competition, Jyotsna - The Obscured Moonlight, 2008.
