Dikshya Samantarai is a PhD research scholar from the Department of English, School of Humanities, IGNOU researching on the representation of corporeality and body politics in Jayanta Mahapatra’s poetry. She completed her Masters in English from Hindu College, University of Delhi in 2018 and has been teaching as a guest faculty in School of Open Learning, Delhi University. She has also taught as a visiting guest faculty in the Department of English and Modern European Languages, GBU. Her primary research interest lies in Indian English Poetry and Theories of Body. Apart from teaching, she also works as a freelance copy editor an writes and edits study material for Bachelor of English courses.
